Rob Kaplan (a full-time mediator since January 1, 2003) mediates in the following locations:  

Approximately 45% of his time is in San Diego, 25% in Orange County, 20% in Los Angeles and 10% in San Francisco and other states. 

Types of cases mediated include:

• Business: employment; securities; prevailing wage; trade secrets; IP; partnership dissolution; business disputes; wage and hour, consumer legal remedy act and other business-related class actions

• Insurance: disability, life, health; ERISA; title; D&O; 1st party and 3rd party CGL, homeowners & auto; inter-insurance company disputes; all kinds of tort cases with underlying insurance coverage disputes; insurance-related class actions

• Personal Injury: serious injuries; wrongful death; section 1983 claims; products liability

• Real Property related: housing discrimination, habitability and mobile home park cases; inverse condemnation
